Moussa Keita

Moussa Keita mainly advises international companies and investors on acquisitions, disposals, mergers or reorganizations as well as on their private equity transactions in the OHADA zone.

He is particularly involved in the mining and natural resources, energy and infrastructure and finance sectors, working alongside investment funds and Guinean and foreign groups on both domestic and international transactions.

He has a wealth of experience, having recently been involved in a number of high-profile transactions, notably in connection with the Simandou project, working alongside our client BaoSteel on its investment in Winning Consortium Simandou (WCS) to develop the integrated Simandou iron ore mine and infrastructure project in partnership with the Guinean government, Rio Tinto and Chinalco.

He also advised Société des Mines de Fer de Guinée (SMFG) on the development of the Nimba iron ore project. In the field of infrastructure and energy, he advised Aéroport de Paris (ADP) and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) on the reorganisation of the shareholding structure of the company responsible for managing and operating the airport in the Republic of Guinea and, more recently, the Turkish group Karpowership in connection with emergency assistance to the Guinean government in relation to the supply of electricity.

Moussa Keita graduated from Nongo University in Conakry, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business law and a master’s degree in business and litigation law with distinction. He also taught law at the university for three years.
Since 2017, he has chaired the committee responsible for capacity building, studies, research, documentation and membership of the NGO “Collective of Friends of OHADA of Guinea”.
He speaks French and English.
