Deals / Senegal: Thiam & Associés advised Oryx Energies SA, an independent supplier of oil and gas products, on the acquisition of 100% of Puma Energy Sénégal SA, a subsidiary of Trafigura Group Pte Ltd.

The acquisition of Puma Energy Sénégal SA enables Oryx Energies SA to add liquefied petroleum gas to its portfolio of activities in Sub-Saharan Africa. It also strengthens its presence in Senegal, one of its main markets in Africa. This transaction is part of a wider development plan for Oryx Energies SA’s liquefied petroleum gas business in Africa.

The Thiam & Associés team was led by Managing Partner Baba Hady Thiam and comprised Amadou Barry, Counsel, Stéphanie Manguele, Binta Maiga and Hadiatou Barry.
