Abdourahamane Kadiatou Camara

Abdourahamane Kadiatou Camara is an associate specializing in mining law.

He has recently been involved in several of the firm’s flagship projects, notably the Simandou iron ore project. He is also a member of the firm’s team advising Chalco on its €700 million investment in the Boffa bauxite mining project, and of the team advising the World Bank on the structuring and implementation of the Fonds de Garantie de Prêts aux Entreprises (FGPE) in the Republic of Guinea, with a share capital of GNF 100 billion (€1 million).

Abdourahamane holds a Master 2 in Business Law from the Université Général Lansana Conté de Sonfonia (UGLC) and a Licence in Private Law from the Université Nongo Conakry (UNC).

Before joining Thiam & Associés, he worked in the Legal Affairs Department of the Guinean Ministry of Mines and Geology and in a Guinean legal consultancy firm.

He speaks French, Sousou and Malinké.
